Self-hosted customers control their platform data. AuthDeep provides access, erasure, rectification, portability, retention, and security controls that support GDPR obligations.
1. Roles and applicability
The GDPR applies to personal data of people in the EEA. A customer operating AuthDeep on its own infrastructure is the Controller, or a Processor for its own customer. AuthDeep is not a Processor for data that never leaves that self-hosted environment.
2. Data-subject rights
Operators can use account lookup and audit records for access requests, edit profiles for rectification, delete accounts and revoke sessions for erasure, export audit data in machine-readable formats where included, and enforce plan-based retention windows. Operators must configure and operate these controls lawfully.
3. Protection by design
AuthDeep minimizes browser credentials, uses opaque HttpOnly sessions, requires TLS on public and internal connections, parameterizes database operations, applies tenant filters to user data, and records authentication and administrative activity.
4. Public website processing
authdeep.com processes limited security logs for legitimate interests and information voluntarily submitted for support, sales, or pre-contractual requests. Security logs are retained for up to 90 days. AuthDeep does not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.
5. Transfers and subprocessors
Self-hosted platform data is not transferred to AuthDeep. Public-site requests may traverse Cloudflare's global network under its data-protection terms. Where AuthDeep processes customer data, the DPA and legally required transfer safeguards apply.
6. Rights requests and authority
For data held by AuthDeep through the website or support systems, submit a request through the Support Portal. For data inside a self-hosted deployment, contact its operator. Complaints may also be made to the competent supervisory authority.
